Hadith posters

I'm working on this posters for Al-Amin mosque. This will probably be printed on A3 & A2 sizes. What's interesting about this project is that it will help to raise fund for the mosque through the sale of the printed posters. Those Jemaah who wish to order them can contact Al-Amin Mosque directly. Here are some of the sample:

Old posters revisited

This four posters is actually re-done from an old posters given to me by Sri Warisan. The original one was handmade, i.e cut and paste. So, I just want to retain that feel. No fancy stuff . No photoshop treatment. This was done totally in CorelDraw.

The pictures were shot from the poster itself using a digital camera. Reason..... I just want to retain a simplistic look to it without having too much frills. Also, I'll definitely have a difficult time to scan an A1 size poster.

I just added some traditional borders and have a watermarked "freehand" writing as a background.

Invitation card for a reunion

This is an invitation card and ticket artwork done for JJC Reunion. This is for electronic mass email as well as for printed copy. I used an old picture of a kampong house and photoshopped it to make it look old and rustic. The whole image is kind of nostalgic. The green leaves & ketupat adds a touch of kampong ambience to it.
